Your Role The North Central Regional Communications Coordinator will partner with the Regional Communications team to craft storytelling opportunities around Gensler’s projects, thought leadership, people, and initiatives. This role supports various communication processes and content, utilizing stories across platforms including earned media, social media, speaking engagements, awards, and other channels to enhance reputation. This position requires effective communication skills, a passion for internal reporting and engaging storytelling, the ability to handle multiple deadlines, and the talent to build trust quickly. What You Will Do Public Relations Assist in developing public relations materials such as fact sheets, project narratives, and briefing documents. Track and report on external impact via media and industry partners. Maintain media assets, contact lists, and editorial calendars. External Reputation Support team efforts on speaking submissions, presentation content, talking points, and event coordination. Leverage event sponsorships and memberships to activate promotional benefits. Assist with awards submissions, tracking deadlines, researching programs, and guiding teams. Support website content development, including project profiles, people pages, and blog posts. Social Media Manage posting and engagement across four office Instagram channels aligned with social strategy. Support Social Media Champions across regional offices. Adapt global social toolkits for local channels and leaders. Assist leaders with content suggestions and LinkedIn training. Internal Communications Contribute content for internal meetings and people communications. Your Qualifications 2+ years of experience in public relations and/or communications. Exceptional attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Problem-solving ability with viable solutions and recommendations. Professional demeanor, friendly, flexible, proactive team player. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Express, InDesign) preferred. Must submit a portfolio and resume in PDF format for consideration. Base salary estimated between $60,000-75,000 plus bonuses and benefits, depending on experience.
