About Assisting Hands Home Care: Assisting Hands Home Care is a locally owned and operated home care agency committed to providing high-quality, personalized care to individuals in Acworth, Kennesaw, and Marietta. Responsibilities May Include: - Providing personal care assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assisting with mobility and transfers.
- Preparing light meals and assisting with feeding.
- Providing medication reminders.
- Offering companionship and emotional support.
- Light housekeeping tasks.
- Accompanying clients to appointments, errands, or social activities.
- Observing and reporting any changes in the client's condition.
Daytime Shift Opportunities (Monday - Friday - Flexible Hours): We have a need for caregivers during the daytime hours, generally between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. Shifts can vary from 2 hours up to a full 8-9 hour day, depending on client needs. We will work with you to find a schedule that fits your availability within this timeframe.
Qualifications: - Previous experience providing personal care is preferred.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
