You will collaborate with diverse stakeholders including educators, community members, and publishers to gather feedback and ensure effective communication aligned with agency goals. You will be part of an agile team focused on developing high-quality instructional materials for Texas students. Essential Functions Execute vision and planning for stakeholder engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support instructional materials development and review. Manage stakeholder engagement opportunities: Facilitate focus groups, working groups, and listening sessions; manage the OER Advisory Board and vendor relationships. Develop and implement communication strategies: Create and execute communication plans that are consistent and aligned with organizational goals. Project management: Support project operations, manage vendor relationships, and assist leadership. Team management: Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing team of 3 staff members. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university in Communications, Education, Project Management, Business, Policy, or a related field. At least six (6) years of experience in strategy, program implementation, communications, education, project management, or operations. Other Qualifications: Belief in the potential of all Texas students. Certification as a Texas Contract Manager (CTCM) within six months. Experience in project management, communication, or strategy with internal teams, clients, or vendors. Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, assess risks, and deliver quality outcomes. Effective verbal and written communication skills, including public presentations. Self-reflective with an agile mindset and continuous improvement focus. This position may consider flexible work locations within Texas for qualified candidates.
