Validation & Engineering Group, Inc. (V&EG) is a leading services supplier who provides solutions for the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Chemical, Food, and Medical Devices industries in the following areas: Laboratory, Compliance, Computer, Engineering, Project Management, Validation, and other services.

We are seeking a talented, dedicated individual committed to work under the highest ethics standards for the following position:

  • Talent Acquisition Specialist

Description:

  • 2 days remote working & 3 days on site working in Barceloneta location.
  • Must be flexible to change days or no remote days, depending on the schedule.
  • The position will support commercial office, PR Early careers program and Manufacturing Operations.
  • Role will manage Smart Recruiters and Workday systems.

  • Candidate must have minimum 5+ years as recruiter on high volumes and experience in a competitive, fast-paced environment, Pharmaceutical or Job agencies experience highly preferred.
  • 5+years of recruiting experience is preferred; experience in managing a minimum of 40 open job posting per month with a successful hiring rates.
  • Must have excellent communication skills with all levels of management on the organization.


Responsibilities

  • Recruitment will be focused on a specific team/function or other areas as assigned.
  • Responsible for attracting top talent and developing a strong, qualified candidate pool for current and future openings.
  • Additional job duties include pre-screening candidates, project management, partnering with team members to develop sourcing strategies, and providing talent for open positions.
  • Demonstrate ability to proactively identify, source, and manage talent pools aligned to business priorities.
  • Core responsibility is to manage open job requisitions, update and manage SmartRecruiters ATS, or similar, achieve recruiting metrics and report key accomplishments. Will also compile and communicate the knowledge base, industry overviews, market trends, data, and analytics to team members and business leaders.
  • Will prepare and approve offer packages, providing equity & market competitiveness data research.
  • Ensure compliance to state/federal and PR employment laws and the policies and practices for applicant tracking compliance and reporting metrics.
  • Establish a true business partnership with hiring managers and leadership on all staffing-related activities and issues.


Qualifications - External:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5 years of recruitment experience in a competitive, fast-paced environment required. 5+ years of recruiting experience preferred.
  • Candidate must be able to manage minimum 40 job postings open monthly.
  • High volume recruitment acknowledge is required – candidate must be a recruiter.
  • Must project a strong business presence and have the ability to instill confidence in clients and deliver results.
  • Proactive recruiting and sourcing experience required.
  • Healthcare/Pharmaceutical/Medical Device industry recruitment experience is strongly preferred.
  • Must be fully bilingual, in English and Spanish.
  • Experience in managing requisitions within SmartRecruiters, Workday, Taleo ATS preferred.
