AAA is seeking a full-time Travel Agent who can bring expertise, insight, and enthusiasm to every interaction. Experience is essential. Candidates should have a strong background in sales, a commitment to meeting goals, personal travel experiences to inspire clients, and preferably certification from an accredited travel school. Responsibilities include selling international and domestic travel packages (cruises, land packages, air travel, car rentals, hotel accommodations), educating clients on travel products and services, meeting or exceeding sales goals, cross-selling related products such as the AAA Travel Advantage Visa Credit Card, preparing and processing travel documents and invoices, and complying with Airline Reporting Corporation (ARC) regulations and AAA Club Alliance policies. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent (travel school graduate preferred), at least 2 years of travel sales experience, excellent communication and customer service skills, proficiency in multitasking with computer programs, knowledge of geography and current world events, and satisfactory background screening.
